Tragedy in Rhodes: Speedboat mutilates 37 year Russian

According to Rodiaki, the local newspaper, the high-speed boat hit the 37 year swimmer, cut apart the entire left side and almost dissipated her head.
According to the same newspaper the 42year old Swiss operator of the vessel who shortly before sunset tried watersports, dragging six skiers with the speedboat, reportedly had realized the blow caused.
As is apparent from the documents presented before the Court, being studied by the Deputy Attorney of Rhodes, the 42year old Swiss stopped when he heard the powerful blow. However one of the skiers claimed that they did search in the area, they found nothing and departed.
The operator of the vessel has a license for water sports in the area of Ialysos. Unknown remains, of course, how he was found in the area between Faliraki and Afantou.
According to the officers of the Rhodes Port Authority stating that the vessel moved within 100 to 150 meters away from the beach, which is strictly prohibited since it violated security rules.
Court depositions by the operator and the 6 skiers have been taken. They argue, among other things, that the vessel was located 500 meters from the coast.
